David Shaffer brings over 24 years of experience in commercial real estate across Texas, with expertise spanning investment sales, project leasing, property management, and asset management to Wellington Realty. His real estate career began in college, working for a residential developer before launching his own subcontracting business in real estate development.

After graduating, David joined Marcus & Millichap, focusing on investment sales of multifamily and commercial properties. He later became Managing Director of Investment Sales at GVA Cawley, where he further honed his leadership and deal-making skills.

In 2006, David founded his own firm—David Shaffer Realty Advisory Company—which later evolved into Wellington Realty in 2008. Under his leadership, Wellington has grown into a respected firm serving major Texas markets, managing a portfolio exceeding $100 million in real estate assets.
